KUALA LUMPUR, August 23 — A 31-second CCTV clip has captured the harrowing moment when a woman, believed to be an Indian tourist, fell into a sinkhole along Jalan Masjid India this morning. The footage, released by the Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department, shows the unsuspecting woman in a green-and-white saree walking down the street before the ground suddenly gave way beneath her.
The incident occurred at 8:44 AM, just moments after the woman passed a group of men seated on a nearby bench, one of whom narrowly escaped being swallowed by the sinkhole as well. Authorities, including the Special Tactical Operation and Rescue Team and the K-9 unit, are continuing their search efforts, with the woman still missing at the time of reporting.
