GEORGE TOWN, August 24 — The Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau (PCEB) conducted a site inspection of the newly opened Crowne Plaza Penang Straits City, an IHG Hotel. The PCEB team, led by General Manager Mr. Rizwan Izham Zain, toured the property, focusing on its extensive meeting and event facilities, including the impressive 653-square-meter Straits Ballroom, capable of hosting up to 800 guests.
Strategically located in Butterworth’s business district, the hotel enhances Penang’s hospitality infrastructure with 343 guest rooms, a 23rd-floor pool, and proximity to Penang Sentral. This new addition underscores Penang’s commitment to becoming a premier destination for business events and tourism, offering world-class amenities for both business and leisure travelers.
