KUALA LUMPUR, August 24 — Umno President Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi reaffirmed the party’s unwavering commitment to securing justice for convicted former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, also known as “Bossku.” Speaking at Umno’s annual general assembly, Zahid emphasized that the party will not cease its efforts until Najib receives what they believe is fair treatment, despite criticism over their pursuit of house arrest and the pardons granted to Najib by the former Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
Zahid addressed party members, highlighting the persistence of their struggle to defend Najib, who remains incarcerated. He stressed that their commitment is demonstrated by recent legal actions, including an affidavit concerning the Titah Addendum, and vowed that the party’s efforts would continue until Najib is granted justice.
