BUKIT JALIL, August 27 — MIMOS Berhad has announced the appointment of Dr. Jasmine Begum as its new Non-Executive Chairman, effective August 8, 2024. Dr. Jasmine, who currently leads Microsoft’s Corporate External and Legal Affairs for the ASEAN region, brings over 30 years of experience in legal, policy, and technological sectors. She succeeds Dato’ Sri Ibrahim Ahmad and is expected to guide MIMOS in navigating the evolving technological landscape in Malaysia and beyond.
Dr. Jasmine’s illustrious career includes leadership roles at Dell, the UNDP, and the United Nations in New York. Her achievements have earned her significant accolades, such as the Women’s Institute of Management’s Tan Sri Napsiah Omar Women Leaders Award and the Global Leadership Award for ICT Excellence.
