GEORGE TOWN, August 28 – YB Dato’ Seri Sundarajoo Somu, EXCO for Housing and Environment and Vice Chairman of Penang Green Council, officially launched Earth Fest 2024 at a press conference on 22nd August at KOMTAR. With the theme “ConnecXion,” this year’s event, scheduled from 4 to 6 October at Hin Bus Depot & COEX, aims to emphasize the deep connections between nature, communities, and individuals.
The festival, organized by Aimpactz Social Enterprise and Grow Community Market and supported by Penang Green Council, promises a celebration filled with sustainability-focused activities and discussions, inviting all Penangites to participate. YB Dato’ Seri Sundarajoo highlighted that Earth Fest 2024 aligns perfectly with Penang2030’s vision for a sustainable future, reflecting Penang’s commitment to environmental leadership and community engagement.
