SINGAPORE, September 2 – BLAST, a leading esports entertainment company, has announced its plans to bring world-class Counter-Strike and Dota 2 tournaments to Singapore in 2024 and 2025. This marks a significant milestone in Singapore’s development as a global esports hub, with support from the Singapore Tourism Board (STB).
The first event, the BLAST Premier World Final 2024, will take place from 30th October to 3rd November, featuring eight of the world’s top Counter-Strike teams competing for a US$1,000,000 prize pool. This will be followed by the BLAST Dota Slam in 2025. These events are set to attract global esports talent and elevate Singapore’s status as a premier destination for esports entertainment.
