GEORGE TOWN, September 11 – In celebration of the 3rd anniversary of the Penang Hill Biosphere Reserve, Penang Hill Corporation (PHC) has launched the second edition of the Penang Hill Nature Trail Companion book. Created in collaboration with authors Madam Wong Yun Yun and Mr. Ng Hong Jing, and supported by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability (NRES), the book aims to foster environmental awareness among school children and the general public.
Building on the success of its 2018 predecessor, the new edition offers engaging content and illustrations that highlight Penang Hill’s rich biodiversity. Designed as an educational resource, it emphasizes the importance of conservation while encouraging young readers to explore and appreciate the natural beauty of the Penang Hill Biosphere Reserve. Complimentary copies are available upon special request, ensuring the message of preservation reaches a wide audience.
