KUALA LUMPUR, September 14 — DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke has voiced his support for Human Resources Minister Steven Sim and Deputy Finance Minister Lim Hui Ying to lead Penang DAP. Loke urged party members to back the duo, referring to Sim as the ideal state chairman candidate and Lim as a strong contender for state secretary.
With 31 candidates competing for 15 positions in the upcoming Penang DAP state elections on September 22, Loke emphasized the importance of Sim and Lim’s leadership in securing the party’s future in the state, particularly as current chairman Chow Kon Yeow steps down.
