KUALA LUMPUR, September 14 – GamBit Group, a leading digital asset solutions provider, is driving Malaysia’s digital finance development through innovative crowdfunding and enhanced financial accessibility for SMEs. Its subsidiary, GamBit Custody, recently made waves by becoming Malaysia’s first Token Crowdfunding wallet for issuers, following approval by the Securities Commission as a Digital Asset Custodian (DAC). GamBit Custody played a pivotal role in closing Malaysia’s first token-based crowdfunding campaign, raising RM10 million for BidNow via utility tokens. The company is also a key player in providing digital asset security for various sectors, including luxury assets and intellectual property.
To further support its expansion and innovation, GamBit Group launched the RM100 million GamBit Growth Fund, focusing on advancing digital finance solutions and expanding into new fiscal opportunities. A significant portion of the fund will be allocated to support SMEs, particularly in Sarawak, where up to RM20 million will help local businesses access government grants and critical technologies. This move underscores GamBit Group’s commitment to democratizing financial services and accelerating economic growth, particularly in underserved regions like East Malaysia.
