KUALA LUMPUR, September 16 – As Malaysia Day approaches on September 16, Liberty General Insurance (Liberty) is celebrating the country’s rich cultural diversity by highlighting five unique traditions that symbolize the nation’s vibrant heritage. These include Pesta Rumbia in Sabah, the graceful Tarian Zapin dance in Johor, the Tamil harvest festival Ponggal, the dazzling Chingay Parade in Penang, and the Sikh celebration of Vaisakhi.
In honour of these traditions, Liberty also launched a special Malaysia Day campaign titled “Janji Kita Together,” running from September 3 to 20, 2024. The campaign gives participants a chance to win RM50 Touch ‘n Go vouchers by matching states to their iconic symbols. This initiative aligns with Liberty’s commitment to protecting Malaysians and fostering unity through cultural appreciation.
