SHAH ALAM, September 18 – Kia Asia Pacific has officially opened its first regional training centre in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, marking its fifth global hub. This new facility aims to drive innovation and service excellence across the region, reinforcing Malaysia’s strategic importance in the Asia Pacific automotive market. The centre will offer advanced training for sales and aftersales teams, enhancing their expertise in line with the evolving automotive landscape.

The 10,000-square-foot centre features cutting-edge classrooms, workshops, and virtual repair simulators, focusing on Kia’s flagship electric models like the EV6 and EV9. Kevin Ahn, President and CEO of Kia Asia Pacific, highlighted that Malaysia’s strategic location and talent pool make it the ideal choice for this hub. The centre aims to train 3,000 professionals annually, supporting Kia’s growth across 34 countries in the APAC region.
