KUALA LUMPUR, September 19 — His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, has been presented with the 2023 financial statements of the federal and state governments ahead of the Budget 2025 presentation. The documents were handed over by Auditor-General Datuk Wan Suraya Wan Mohd Radzi during an audience at Istana Negara.
The financial report will be tabled in the upcoming Dewan Rakyat session, with Budget 2025 set for presentation on October 18 under the theme “Ekonomi MADANI, Negara Makmur, Rakyat Sejahtera.”
