KUALA LUMPUR, September 20 – Pakatan Harapan (PH) Secretary-General Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail has called out Perikatan Nasional (PN) leaders for rejecting the government’s draft of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Opposition allocations through the media, rather than engaging in negotiations.
Saifuddin, who is also the Minister of Home Affairs, emphasized the need for constructive discussions, comparing it to the successful MoU on political transformation two years ago. He urged PN to follow the proper negotiation process instead of creating public “noise.” His remarks come after PN leaders, including Chief Whip Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan, criticized the MoU draft for being prepared unilaterally by the government without prior discussions.
