KOTA BARU, September 20 — PAS Secretary-General Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan has refuted claims that the party has suspended its Perlis information chief, Mohd Saifizi Saidon. Takiyuddin clarified that no disciplinary action has been taken, and the viral statement circulating online is false.
“The matter is under the party’s observation, but no action has been initiated,” Takiyuddin told reporters during the Kelantan Lantern Festival 2024. The false statement had alleged that Mohd Saifizi was suspended for delivering an inappropriate speech at the recent PAS Annual Muktamar in Pahang, but Takiyuddin confirmed this information as baseless.
