SINGAPORE, September 26 – Princeton Digital Group (PDG), a Singapore-based data centre operator, has acquired land in Johor, Malaysia, as part of a broader strategy to double its capacity and meet the growing demand for artificial intelligence (AI) services. Along with Johor, PDG has also secured land in Jakarta, Indonesia, and India’s Mumbai and Chennai, supported by an additional 500 megawatts of power supply.

This expansion is part of a US$5 billion (RM21.34 billion) investment programme over the next 12 to 18 months, according to PDG’s CEO Rangu Salgame. The company plans to add over 300 employees across markets like Japan, Malaysia, and Singapore by the end of 2025. PDG operates over 20 data centres in Asia, backed by global private equity firm Warburg Pincus.
