KUALA LUMPUR, October 6 – Sunway Healthcare Group and Medtronic have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance their collaboration in addressing key healthcare challenges. This partnership aims to elevate the Centre of Excellence at Sunway Medical Centre, focusing on critical areas such as spine, neuroscience, and cardiovascular medicine, while also providing training for future surgeons in advanced robotic surgical techniques.
The MoU, signed by Medtronic’s Vice President Jennifer Cho and Sunway Healthcare’s Managing Director Dr. Khoo Chow Huat, underscores a commitment to knowledge exchange and professional development through clinical engagements and workshops. Both organizations aim to leverage their expertise in medical technologies to improve patient outcomes and drive innovations in robotic surgery and digital healthcare initiatives across the region.
