Apple is experiencing significant shipping delays for custom configurations of its M3 MacBook Pro, M2 Mac mini, and M3 iMac, with orders placed today unlikely to arrive before the end of the month. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, these delays are often seen before Apple introduces refreshed models, though they aren’t a guaranteed indicator of upcoming product launches.

Apple is expected to transition its Mac lineup to the M4 chip family this month, starting with the 14″ and 16″ MacBook Pro, 24″ iMac, and Mac mini. Exciting changes include a redesigned Mac mini and base models coming with 16GB of RAM by default, breaking Apple’s tradition of including 8GB since 2016.
