Apple is preparing for a major product release on November 1, 2024, with a range of updated devices, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The tech giant is expected to unveil a low-end 14-inch MacBook Pro, high-end 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros, a refreshed iMac, and a redesigned Mac mini — all powered by M4 chips. A refreshed iPad mini is also set to debut at the same time.
This launch marks Apple’s shift in focus after the release of the iPhone 16, as it looks to refresh several hardware lines before the year ends. The new MacBook Pros and iMacs are anticipated to offer significant performance boosts with the M4 chip, continuing Apple’s push toward custom silicon across its devices.
Looking ahead to early 2025, Apple is expected to release more new products, including the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models with M4 chips, a revamped iPhone SE, refreshed 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Air models, new Magic Keyboards for the iPads, and an upgraded AirTag. These launches will likely keep Apple at the forefront of innovation as it updates key product categories.
Further into 2025, Apple plans to introduce new Mac Studio and Mac Pro models, with their release slated for mid-year and the second half of the year, respectively. This will set the stage for the arrival of the iPhone 17 and M5 Macs in late 2025, maintaining Apple’s steady product cycle.
