BAYAN LEPAS, October 14 – The Sarawak Tourism Board has successfully launched its inaugural Sarawak Gateway to Borneo Fair at Queensbay Mall, running from October 10 to 13. This four-day event celebrates the rich Culture, Adventure, Nature, Food, and Festivals (CANFF) of Sarawak, inviting residents and visitors to immerse themselves in the vibrant heritage and attractions of Borneo. The fair was officiated by YB Dato Dennis Ngau, Chairman of the Sarawak Tourism Board, on behalf of YB Dato Sri Haji Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry, and Performing Arts Sarawak.

Throughout the event, attendees enjoyed an array of cultural performances, including traditional music from the Sape and nose flute, along with dance presentations from the Iban, Bidayuh, Orang Ulu, and Melanau communities.
