JOHOR BAHRU, October 17 — Regency Specialist Hospital has officially launched its new Regency Medical Care Centre (RMCC) at The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey, Johor’s first ambulatory care hub within a shopping mall. Aimed at enhancing convenience and accessibility, RMCC provides a range of quality healthcare services, including health screenings, specialist consultations, and diagnostic imaging. The opening, officiated by Yang Berhormat Tuan Ling Tian Soon, Johor’s Health and Environment Committee Chairman, highlights the centre’s role in supporting both local and international patients while boosting Johor’s medical tourism sector.
RMCC is equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology and offers a seamless experience through the HMI One app, which simplifies appointment scheduling for patients. Ms Serena Yong, CEO of Regency Specialist Hospital, emphasized RMCC’s commitment to preventive care and early detection, aligning with Malaysia’s goal of becoming a premier healthcare destination by 2025. The centre aims to attract international patients, particularly from Singapore and neighbouring countries, further strengthening Johor’s position as a healthcare hub.
