KOTA KINABALU, October 21 — Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil unveiled the ‘Information School’ initiative aimed at equipping Madani Community teams with vital communication skills to better understand and disseminate government policies, while combating misinformation and fake news. The programme is expected to involve all 1,878 Madani Community teams nationwide.
Speaking at the Sembang Santai Komuniti Madani event in Putatan, Fahmi emphasized the need for communities to effectively share information about government initiatives like Budget 2025 and provide critical support during times of hardship or disaster. The initiative also aligns with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s call to prevent corruption and ensure the prudent use of public funds.
