GEORGE TOWN, October 28 – Penang DAP Chairman Steven Sim led the State Committee in a meeting with the Penang Chinese Chamber of Commerce (PCCC) President, Dato’ Seri Choot Ewe Seng, on October 26, 2024. The discussion centered on key topics such as the new minimum wage, workforce skill development, Budget 2025, and potential collaborative opportunities.
Sim also highlighted the establishment of a new NGO relations bureau within Penang DAP to foster closer engagement with NGOs. Led by Ramkarpal Singh, Dato’ Yeoh Soon Hin, and Zairil Khir Johari, the bureau aims to create a two-way communication channel, allowing NGOs to share insights directly with party leaders.
