PETALING JAYA, October 28 — Kedah’s Menteri Besar Sanusi Nor unveiled the “Greater Kedah” blueprint today in Alor Setar, outlining an ambitious vision to transform Kedah into Malaysia’s leading state by 2050. This comprehensive plan aims to create a prosperous, liveable environment across all areas of Kedah, with initiatives spanning economic growth, social development, environmental sustainability, and enhanced governance.

Inspired by Sultan Sallehuddin Sultan Badlishah, the blueprint emphasizes strategic partnerships, economic empowerment, and resource management to benefit current and future generations. Sanusi urged Kedahans to unite and support the long-term roadmap, noting that while results may take time, a collective effort can accelerate the state’s progress.
