KUALA LUMPUR, November 3 – NTT DATA has introduced its Generative AI Talent Development Framework, aimed at training around 200,000 employees globally and developing 30,000 AI experts by 2026. This initiative sets a global standard for GenAI expertise across multiple levels, equipping employees with the skills needed to drive AI innovations for clients. The framework supports the Malaysian government’s goals of nurturing AI talent, with certification for 15,000 GenAI practitioners targeted by the end of fiscal year 2024.
The training program offers four tiers of expertise, from basic GenAI knowledge to advanced leadership roles in AI innovation. NTT DATA’s commitment to AI development is backed by over 40 years of research, a robust partner ecosystem, and a leading position in global AI patents. Yutaka Sasaki, President and CEO of NTT DATA, emphasized that the initiative will empower businesses and accelerate market growth through AI-driven solutions.
