PUTRAJAYA, November 6 – Garmin Malaysia marked another milestone with the successful third annual Garmin Run Asia Series, gathering over 12,000 health-conscious Malaysians in Putrajaya. Celebrated under the theme “From Zero to Hero,” the race motivated participants to test their limits in the 5km, 10km, and 21km categories, starting with a high-energy Zumba warmup session to set an enthusiastic tone.

Jimmy Chuang, Country Manager of Garmin Malaysia, expressed his pride, highlighting Garmin’s commitment to empowering a healthier Malaysian community through technology and continued support. Joining the festivities, Garmin Malaysia Brand Ambassador and celebrity Alif Satar took part in the 10km run, celebrating the dedication of participants. “It’s heartening to see so many Malaysians of all ages come together, pushing their limits and supporting each other.

This run is a testament to the strength of our community,” he shared. The event closed with a prize-giving ceremony for the top runners, who received awards worth over RM138,000, along with a lucky draw featuring Garmin watches and merchandise. Noor Amelia Musa, winner of the 21km Women’s Open, expressed her joy in finishing strong, hoping to return for next year’s race.
