KUALA LUMPUR, November 14 — The Malaysian AIDS Foundation (MAF) has announced the new Board of Trustees lineup for 2024-2026, led by Professor Dato’ Dr. Adeeba Kamarulzaman as Chairman, a position she has held since 2006. This distinguished board, comprising nine members, was elected by the Malaysian AIDS Council during their Annual General Meeting in August. Professor Dato’ Dr. Adeeba expressed her commitment to expanding MAF’s reach and impact, stating, “With the support and guidance of the Board, we will continue to touch the lives of countless individuals in need.”
Joining the Board are two new trustees, Mr. Goh Miah Kiat, CEO of Karex, and Ms. Geraldine Beh, Managing Director of Tatler Malaysia, each bringing valuable expertise and long-standing support for MAF’s initiatives. MAF is optimistic that the combined experience of these new members, alongside incumbent trustees, will drive progress toward the foundation’s mission of combating HIV/AIDS and fostering a healthier, more inclusive society across Malaysia.
