KUALA LUMPUR, November 15 — The eighth ANIFEST Creative Arts Festival, held at KL Gateway Mall, attracted thousands under the theme “Creative Arts Integration.” This year’s event brought together creative arts with Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in a lively, tech-enhanced setting. Highlighting the multidisciplinary nature of modern art, Dr. Muliyadi Mahamood of Universiti Teknologi Mara praised ANIFEST as a space where Malaysia’s vibrant art scene aligns with cultural, commercial, and spiritual values.

The event also emphasized ethical content creation through sessions like “Etika Kandungan Berhemah,” led by the Content Forum, which discussed the role of responsibility and integrity in Malaysia’s booming creative sector. Panel discussions encouraged local creators to embrace new technologies to promote Malaysia’s cultural heritage on a global stage, aiming to position the country’s art industry as a prominent force in Southeast Asia.
