KUALA LUMPUR, November 16 — SIRIM Berhad inaugurated the International Conference on Quality and Innovation (ICQI) 2024 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, bringing together global leaders, industry experts, and policymakers to advance discussions on quality management, standards, and sustainable practices. This two-day conference serves as a platform for cross-sectoral dialogue, offering keynotes, workshops, and panels that promote knowledge-sharing in the realms of quality and innovation.
Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade, and Industry YB Liew Chin Tong, who launched the event, emphasized Malaysia’s commitment to quality and sustainable growth, underscoring the conference’s role in fostering strategic partnerships. “ICQI 2024 is a critical step in supporting Malaysia’s vision to lead in economic and environmental sustainability,” he noted, highlighting the conference as an essential driver of the country’s progress toward sustainable development goals.
