GEORGE TOWN, November 19 – A 14-year-old female student tragically passed away after falling from a school building in George Town, Penang, around 5:57 PM yesterday. Northeast District Police Chief ACP Abdul Rozak Muhammad confirmed that police investigations at the scene and a preliminary examination of the body found no evidence of foul play. The case has been classified as sudden death, and a Sudden Death Report (LMM) has been opened for further investigation.
Authorities have urged the public not to speculate about the incident to avoid interfering with the investigation. They also appealed to individuals to refrain from sharing images or videos of the scene out of respect for the grieving family. The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) expressed their condolences to the victim’s family and assured a thorough investigation to clarify the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
