GEORGE TOWN, December 3 – The Penang State Government, through Chief Minister Incorporated (CMI), has partnered with Stonyhurst International School Penang (SHP) to unveil the SHP-CMI Scholarship Programme. Designed to empower financially disadvantaged yet talented students in Penang, this initiative offers up to 10 scholarships for SHP’s inaugural Sixth Form (A Levels) programme, commencing in August 2025.
By providing access to world-class education, the programme aims to nurture future leaders grounded in integrity, compassion, and service. “Penang’s success lies in our ability to develop local talent alongside attracting external expertise,” said Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow, emphasizing the state’s commitment to exceptional education. Echoing this sentiment, SHP Principal Richard Moore highlighted the programme’s role in shaping leaders who embody excellence and service.
