KUALA LUMPUR, December 5 – FashionValet founders Datin Vivy Yusof and Datuk Fadzaruddin Shah Anuar are set to be charged in the Sessions Court in Kuala Lumpur today. The charges stem from RM43.9 million in investment losses linked to government-linked companies Khazanah Nasional Berhad and Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB).
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) confirmed the case, citing suspicious transactions dating back to 2018. MACC chief Tan Sri Azam Baki stated that investigations were completed on November 28, leading to the couple’s arrest and subsequent release on bail yesterday. The charges highlight ongoing concerns over accountability and transparency in public investment dealings.
