KUALA LUMPUR, December 12 – Plaza Low Yat, Malaysia’s iconic IT lifestyle mall, has launched its #AGreenerXmas campaign, featuring a striking 12-foot Interactive Recycled LED Christmas Tree. Crafted from discarded LED panels and carton boxes, this eco-friendly centerpiece symbolizes the mall’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.

Running until December 29, 2024, the campaign engages visitors through interactive pledges to adopt greener habits, with each pledge illuminating a panel on the tree and contributing RM1 to Zero Waste Malaysia. Chief Marketing Officer Ronan Lee highlighted the campaign’s vision: “This tree represents our shared journey toward sustainability, showing how small actions can lead to significant change.”

The mall complements this initiative with exclusive tech deals, festive activities, and a spending contest, while reusing decorations to minimize waste. Collaborating with Zero Waste Malaysia, Plaza Low Yat inspires Malaysians to embrace eco-conscious celebrations, turning the holiday season into a meaningful movement for a greener future.
