KUALA LUMPUR, December 13 – Deputy Communications Minister Teo Nie Ching announced enhanced government support for digital content creators, unveiling a series of workshops and programmes aimed at empowering Malaysians in the digital era. Through the Tun Abdul Razak Broadcasting and Information Institute (IPPTAR), creators can access courses like TikTok content creation and podcast production, fostering educational and inspiring digital content.
Additionally, initiatives such as the Youth Content Maker Lab Workshop, held in collaboration with FINAS and the Malaysian Creative Youth Organisation, equip young creators with skills in idea development, video production, and marketing. With RM30 million allocated under Budget 2025 for a Youth Creative Community programme, Teo highlighted the government’s commitment to nurturing talent and transforming digital content creation into viable careers.
