KUALA LUMPUR, December 12 – The Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) and the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) have launched the MYSite Selection Portal, a cutting-edge platform combining geospatial analytics with comprehensive industrial data to revolutionize site selection in Malaysia.

Offering real-time information on infrastructure, connectivity, and sustainability metrics for industrial parks nationwide, the portal streamlines decision-making for investors. Accompanied by the second edition of the Malaysia Industrial Park Directory, the initiative strengthens Malaysia’s position as a hub for high-value manufacturing and investment.

Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry YB Liew Chin Tong noted that the tools enhance Malaysia’s supply chain resilience in strategic sectors like semiconductors. With features such as intelligent location matching and real-time analytics, the portal enables smarter, faster, and more sustainable investment decisions.

MIDA CEO Datuk Sikh Shamsul Ibrahim and FMM President Tan Sri Dato’ Soh Thian Lai emphasized the platform’s role in driving growth, with plans for a Star Rating System to establish benchmarks for industrial park quality and sustainability in the future.
