SEREMBAN, December 28 – Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has called on coalition members to resolve disagreements privately, emphasizing the importance of unity and teamwork for political resurgence. Speaking at the Negeri Sembilan BN convention, Zahid urged members to avoid public disputes, using a football analogy to stress that “own goals” must be avoided to ensure future success.
Highlighting the need for BN to remain part of the unity government, Zahid reiterated that internal cohesion is essential to counter the Opposition’s efforts to destabilize the coalition. Reflecting on BN’s poor performance in GE15, he underscored the coalition’s focus on rebuilding dominance through collective effort and cooperation.
