GEORGE TOWN, December 29 – Penang’s Andaman Island came alive with festive spirit as Eastern & Oriental Berhad (E&O), in collaboration with the local entrepreneur community Cloud Club, hosted its first large-scale Christmas event, the Fa-La-La Christmas Market.
Held over three days, the event drew around 10,000 visitors daily, celebrating the season with a curated marketplace featuring 60 vendors and community-driven activities, including carol singing, live performances, and snowing sessions—a magical highlight for attendees.
Executive Chairman Dato’ Seri Tee Eng Ho praised the event as a platform to showcase Andaman Island’s vision for eco-conscious urban living while empowering local entrepreneurs. He hinted at making the celebration an annual tradition, emphasizing E&O’s commitment to fostering vibrant community connections and supporting local businesses.
