SEREMBAN, December 30 – Xindeco IoT Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of China-based Xiamen Xindeco IoT Technology Co., Ltd., officially inaugurated its advanced RFID manufacturing facility in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. Spanning 30,000 square feet, the plant is one of Southeast Asia’s largest RFID production hubs, with a capacity to produce one billion RFID tags annually.
This strategic investment positions Malaysia as a pivotal player in the global RFID technology industry, catering to sectors such as retail, healthcare, logistics, and supply chain management across the Asia-Pacific region. Located in the Arab Malaysian Industrial Park, the facility integrates state-of-the-art automation and precision manufacturing, aligning with Malaysia’s New Industrial Master Plan (NIMP) 2030.
The grand opening, graced by prominent figures including MIDA Negeri Sembilan Director Mr. Azizul Hakim Abu Haniffa and Invest NS CEO Dato’ Haji Najmuddin Sharif bin Sarimon, highlighted the project’s significance in creating high-value jobs and boosting the nation’s industrial landscape.
“This investment cements Malaysia’s position in the global technology supply chain,” remarked Datuk Sikh Shamsul Ibrahim of MIDA, while Ms. Abby Wu, General Manager of Xindeco IoT Malaysia, emphasized the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in Malaysia’s industrial future.
