KUALA LUMPUR, January 1 – Sunway Healthcare Group (SHG) has entered a strategic collaboration with Syneos Health®, a global biopharmaceutical solutions leader, to elevate Malaysia’s clinical trial landscape. Joining the Syneos Health Catalyst and Site Network Partnerships Program, SHG becomes the first private hospital network in Malaysia to participate, expanding its trial capabilities across diverse therapeutic areas.
Dr. Khoo Chow Huat, SHG’s Managing Director, emphasized the collaboration’s impact on patient access to innovative therapies, while Syneos Health’s APAC leader Serena Chan highlighted the partnership’s role in fostering a robust, inclusive clinical research ecosystem. With its medical centers in Sunway City, Cheras, and Penang, SHG aims to deliver high-quality trials that bring transformative treatments closer to Malaysian communities.
