KUALA LUMPUR, January 5 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has announced that the MADANI Government’s Cabinet will soon hold its third retreat session, aimed at addressing weaknesses within the administration while reflecting on its successes. Speaking at the Prime Minister’s Department monthly assembly, Anwar emphasized the need for heightened commitment from Cabinet members.

Suggesting the involvement of ministry secretaries-general and directors-general in subsequent sessions. The upcoming retreat follows similar sessions in January 2023 and 2024, designed to evaluate the administration’s performance and strategize improvements. Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar were also present at the assembly.
