GEORGE TOWN, January 13 – The Pulau Tikus State Assemblyman Office launched its 2025 health awareness campaign with a CPR training programme at Kompleks Masyarakat Penyayang, attracting over 100 participants. The session, conducted by the Malaysian Red Crescent Society Penang, provided attendees with vital skills such as CPR, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) usage, and first aid techniques.
State Assemblyman Joshua Woo Sze Zeng emphasized the importance of public preparedness in medical emergencies, highlighting initiatives like the installation of AEDs across the constituency. Supported by Bukit Bendera MP YB Syerleena Abdul Rashid, the campaign aligns with the slogan “Uplift, Upskill, Upgrade Pulau Tikus” and features upcoming health events, including a Cancer Awareness Talk and Women’s Health Campaign.
