GEORGE TOWN, January 16 – Chief Minister of Penang, YAB Chow Kon Yeow, officiated the grand opening of Lyf Georgetown Penang by The Ascott Limited yesterday. Located in the heart of Penang’s UNESCO World Heritage Site, the property is a fusion of modern living and rich heritage, aiming to offer visitors an immersive and authentic Penang experience.
Highlighting Penang’s dynamic hospitality sector, Chow noted the property’s timely debut as hotel occupancy rates are expected to exceed 90% in the coming months due to festive seasons and high-level ASEAN meetings.
