LAS VEGAS, January 20 – At CES 2025, Aqara made waves by unveiling a series of innovative smart home products designed to enhance user convenience and home automation. The company introduced its first in-wall control panels for the global market, including the Panel Hub S1 Plus, Touchscreen Dial V1, and Touchscreen Switch S100 US. These devices offer sleek, intuitive interfaces that allow homeowners to manage and control smart devices and scenes without relying on a smartphone, placing centralized control at their fingertips.
The star of Aqara’s new lineup is the Panel Hub S1 Plus, a premium in-wall panel that replaces traditional light switches. With its dual-band Wi-Fi and a 6.9-inch touchscreen, the S1 Plus allows users to wirelessly manage a wide range of devices, including lights, cameras, door locks, and thermostats. This versatile device doubles as a Zigbee hub and a Matter bridge for Aqara’s Zigbee devices. Aqara also revealed the upcoming release of the Touchscreen Dial V1 and the Touchscreen Switch S100 US, both designed to simplify the management of smart devices through intuitive touch and rotary controls.
Continuing to build on its commitment to interoperability, Aqara expanded its Thread portfolio, announcing several new sensors and border routers. Among them is the Presence Multi-Sensor FP300, a battery-operated device that uses both PIR and millimeter-wave (mmWave) technology for precise human detection. Aqara’s Climate Sensor W100 offers enhanced climate control with temperature and humidity sensors, while the Doorbell Camera Hub G410 adds improved 2K video quality and expanded smart home integration, including support for third-party Matter devices.
In addition to these new devices, Aqara unveiled the next-generation Light Switch H2 and Dimmer Switch H2, both designed for the North American market. These smart switches feature Thread and Zigbee connectivity, offering enhanced flexibility and future-proof interoperability. With simple installation options, including no need for a neutral wire, Aqara’s new switches cater to a wide range of homes and users.
