KUALA LUMPUR, January 30 — Malaysian sustainable coatings leader MCW Tech Sdn Bhd has partnered with Bahrain’s KAR Group to establish a cutting-edge Ionpaint® manufacturing facility in Bahrain. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on January 9, 2025, marking a significant step towards advancing sustainability in the Middle East.
This partnership aligns with Bahrain’s Vision 2030 and Malaysia’s National Industrial Master Plan 2030, focusing on reducing carbon emissions and promoting green manufacturing. The facility will produce the award-winning Ionpaint®, an air-purifying coating developed with IONTECH® nanotechnology. Sourced from eco-friendly materials, the product eliminates harmful pollutants and adheres to global green manufacturing standards.
