KUALA LUMPUR, January 31 — Nurin Hannani Hafizi, a 21-year-old Malaysian student in Hiroshima, Japan, has been found safe and taken to the Malaysian Embassy in Tokyo. Her disappearance earlier this week had raised concerns, prompting authorities and organizations to mobilize efforts to locate her.
The Malaysian Students’ Association in Japan (MSAJ) and Islamic outreach group Iman Jepun confirmed her safe recovery on Facebook, expressing gratitude for the support and prayers received. Nurin, a student at Kure Kosen, was reported missing after failing to return to campus on Monday night, leading the institution to file a police report.
