PUTRAJAYA, February 2 – The Road Transport Department (JPJ) will introduce a nationwide job rotation policy for counter service staff who have served for over five years, affecting 1,907 personnel. Director-General Datuk Aedy Fadly Ramli said this aligns with the Public Service Department’s (PSD) recent directive to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and integrity in service delivery.
The initiative, part of the broader Public Service Reform agenda, aims to improve staff skills and create a more dynamic work environment. “By rotating roles, we aim to uphold service quality while addressing integrity concerns,” Aedy Fadly stated. The move follows Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail’s remarks that job rotation can tackle long-term placement challenges and foster better public service outcomes.
