GEORGE TOWN, February 3 — DAP Penang hosted its annual Lunar New Year Open House today, bringing together people from all backgrounds to celebrate the Year of the Snake with party leaders. Organizing Committee Chairman Teh Lai Heng highlighted that the event symbolizes unity, harmony, and diversity in the state.
Held at the Penang Chinese Town Hall (PCTH) at noon, the celebration featured a festive feast alongside traditional Chinese cultural performances, including lion dances, traditional music, and the iconic ‘Lou Sang’ prosperity toss. Teh welcomed attendees from all communities, emphasizing the importance of inclusivity and togetherness during this joyous occasion.
