KUALA LUMPUR, February 3 – Malaysia will soon host several world leaders, including Uzbekistan President Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev and Turkiye President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as part of efforts to enhance its diplomatic relations globally, announced Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Speaking at the Chinese New Year Open House hosted by the Perak Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ipoh, Anwar emphasized the importance of diversifying Malaysia’s strategic partnerships and attracting investments from countries such as the United States, the European Union, and China.
Anwar’s remarks underscored the government’s commitment to strengthening international relations, highlighting the significance of not relying on a single country for economic and political cooperation. The event was also attended by key ministers and leaders, including Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir and Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad.
