Apple has announced that its global install base has reached a new milestone of 2.35 billion actively used devices, marking an increase of 150 million from the 2.2 billion reported in February 2024. However, this represents a 6.8% growth rate, a decline from the 10% increase recorded between 2023 and 2024 when 200 million devices were added. Despite the slowdown, Apple continues to expand its presence across global markets.
Looking ahead, Apple sees significant growth potential with the upcoming launch of Apple Intelligence in China. Set for April with the iOS 18.4 update, the expansion will introduce support for Simplified Chinese and additional languages. CEO Tim Cook remains optimistic, citing stronger iPhone 16 sales compared to its predecessor in regions where Apple Intelligence has already been introduced, signaling continued demand for the company’s latest innovations.
