KOTA KINABALU, February 8 — Pos Malaysia Berhad has officially launched its first Pos Shop in East Malaysia, marking a major milestone in its nationwide retail expansion. Located within Pejabat Pos Besar Kota Kinabalu on Jalan Segama, the new 2,200-square-foot outlet integrates postal services with modern convenience retail, offering customers an enhanced experience.
Officiated by Sabah’s Minister of Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship, YB Datuk Phoong Jin Zhe, the launch highlights Pos Malaysia’s commitment to modernizing its services and supporting local entrepreneurs. Charles Brewer, Group CEO of Pos Malaysia, expressed enthusiasm for the expansion, stating that Pos Shop Kota Kinabalu will serve as a catalyst for retail transformation in Sabah and Sarawak.
The outlet features postal services, bill payments, mobile reloads, and a Pos Kafe, providing customers with a seamless blend of traditional and modern retail experiences. To celebrate the Chinese New Year, Pos Shop has introduced a special festive menu as part of its ‘Promo Paling Ong’ campaign, available at all 50 Pos Shop outlets nationwide until February 28.
