CUPERTINO, February 13 – Apple has rolled out a significant update allowing users to migrate their purchases between different Apple Accounts, helping those with multiple accounts consolidate their content. This long-awaited feature enables users to transfer apps, music, and other purchased content from a secondary account—typically used for purchases—to a primary Apple Account.

To initiate the migration, users must sign in to both accounts on the same iPhone or iPad, ensure both are set to the same region, and have two-factor authentication enabled. The secondary account cannot have an active balance, rentals, or pre-orders, and Purchase Sharing must be turned off. Once all conditions are met, the migration process can be completed through the

Settings app under Media & Purchases. After the transfer, the secondary account will no longer be used for future purchases, streamlining account management for Apple users.
